Planters First Bank is committed to protecting our customers from fraud. To address this top concern, we developed a unique initiative, the Planters First Bank Fraud Academy, which trains and certifies our team as Fraud Detection Specialists.

The Academy is an annual training program that equips our team with the knowledge and tools to identify and prevent scams and fraudulent activity. Our instructors include in-house financial crime experts as well as guest specialists from local and federal law enforcement agencies. Employees who successfully complete the program earn certification in detecting fraud schemes such as counterfeit checks, elder abuse, romance scams, and many other common threats.
